To me, food not only tingles my taste buds but also my memory. A lot of recipes are associated with unique moments, festivities; some bring along the fresh scent of love and care; some remind me of running back from school with a hungry stomach; there are times when I long for a recipe that takes me back to my cultural roots; sometimes I yearn for an experimental bite to take me back to moments of discovery. I hope u get the drift... Of all these the strongest memories are of recipes my grandmother made with her magic ingredients and the associated moments. Each day as my memory is refreshed, I decided to recreate the recipe in my kitchen and on my blog. I hope this drive down my memory lane provides each of you with a delectable recipe and also experiences to reminescence later.
This blog is an inspiration from my grand mothers cooking. I also want to pass on these recipes to my sister who has started to try her hand in cooking
